So I'm trying to keep up with this blog thing,not much luck there. Some updates: I've been stitching on a few things-mostly HAED's. I'm also doing a Demented Alice,sorry not sure who the designer is. Haven't scanned anything in awhile so no real stitching updates....I should really get on that.
I haven't found my charger for my camera so no shots just yet of Carries Thread exchange with the ILCS group...sorry I'm looking for it.
Yesterday I rec. a chart from a fairy on the HAED BB Thank You Twinkle Toes for gifting me Citrine By Rachel Anderson
I'm working on the Citrine Qs on the board so I'm very excited to have rec. this full chart now they can be companions-might even reverse the qs so they can flank each other?
We've been trying to get a house so my cleaning up this place has gone up. We've pretty much been told the house is ours just waiting for paperwork to catch up. So on top of trying to quit smoking-I'm getting a little ansy. I just found out I have a cholestreol problem and I don't eat much garbage-so I'm a little confused on that.

Me Time?
My kids are back in school-the older ones anyway. Now it's me and Valorie. We've been busy playing every day. Now she's not feeling so good-stuffy and gassy! Great combination.
Me time-don't really get any,no matter how I try. They find me if I try to shut myself in my room. I usually don't get much stitching in now unless it's in the middle of the night,but what else is there when you can't sleep anyway.
We're trying to get a house. Very exciting,we've lived here for 20 yrs. We're waiting for previous owners signature. We should know in a week or so what's going on.In the mean time we've been cleaning up this place and getting rid of all kinds of stuff. 5 kids you sure get a lot of stuff!
My printer has decided to wig out on me-so I haven't been ab;e to print out any charts to work on.
Well gotta pay bills while Valorie is distracted.

Scanned
Got some scanning done. Now if I could just figure out that silly sidebar and slideshow. I've been trying to stay busy with stitching..but 3 yr. olds are demanding. I've gotten alot done on 3 projects this week. I don't think I'll make my goal on the Mystic but I'm going to keep going. The oranges in the citrine are bothering me. The dragon Soul is just so small to work on.
I got a Morgan Lap Stand. I really like it. I can use 2 hands and it all goes alot faster which I like. Any one else out there tried one or seen them yet?

Tomorrow I will scan. I still haven't found my camera/video,don't know where it could've gone.
I've been working on the Citrine, the Carnation Sampler and Last Frog-I think I worked a little on something else too just can't remember what right now.
I've been doing a few floss swaps,so I have some new dyed floss that I need to find projects for. I have also been buying bits and pieces of different linen/evenweaves. Can't say I like the linens too much,haven't tried stitching on any of them yet-might not. I do like the evenweaves tho. I have 2 starts on it so far(that's what else I was working on). One is just a small on a piece of fabric I got in an ILCS exchange(9x13 jobelan)28 ct I believe solo from silkweaver it's real pretty. After looking at it for awhile with my husband-we discovered I have stitched a wave in it?.Chalking it up to first time and leaving it in I don't think it's that noticeable. The other is my very first HAED purchase QS dragon soul-I'm doing it on ant. white 28ct. 1x1. This took me awhile to figure out. At first I tried it 2x1 that got real tight and my thumb got real sore so after a block I ripped it all out and tried 2x2 didn't really like that either so I ripped it out again....by now it's 4 am So i packed it all up and got it out again the next day when I had had some sleep and my husband took all the kids out of the house for awhile. It's still tiny work and I don't have my kreinik yet so I'm hoping those spots won't be too lost. I can only work on it well when the kids aren't around so it's usually late night work but I have about 3 squares done.
