Geez...it's been awhile. Too many social medias out there not enough time in one day LOL

So I've got a bit more done on Faery Tales,not too much more done on QS Dragon Soul...think I'm trying to avoid the Kreinik there :). I've gotten 2 pages more done on Citrine(TY twinkle toes?)Quite a few new starts,and Im ordering my first Tilton Craft design-probably going to be Wonderland :) Hoping to get some stitching in today. I need to catch up on the SAL TOTA.

I managed to get some scanning done so here's a pic update...........................I'm still here. And still mostly stitching on Faery Tales. I def. need to do some scanning. After a scare thinking my fabric wasn't going to be the right size I did the last row all the way across and I'm good -I have almost an inch and a half.Now I'm racing one side all the way up just to be sure,it's only 5 up so I should be good,bottom was 8 across. I have gotten alot done since my last update but I do need to scan AND I need to get back to a rotation of some kind. I'm not going to be hitting any of my HAED BB goals for the year that's for sure.
I have been completely exhausted since the surgery and just can't seem to shake it. If I take naps I'm tired if I don't I'm tired, I think I'm more tired now than I was with any of my pregnancies. The 4 yr old is wandering and we have candy out so I think I'm done for now.

gall bladder:(

I have had my gall bladder removed-after 5 yrs. of stomach problems. The last dr. I saw said there is nothing wrong with your stomach,you don't even have any parts in that area that should be hurting.Not once in all that time did anyone even suggest an ultrasound or mri or anything,just pee in this cup and let us take some more blood. I started having very painful attacks that would last for hours and nothing would make it stop-by the time I had the third one always in the middle of the night.,I woke my husband up and told him we have to go to the ER-amazingly enough(smart people there) they decided to do an ultrasound and minutes later they were hitting me up with the strong painkillers and discussing surgery mostly with my husband because I had found peacful/painfree sleep yay! Turns out if I had had one more attack we would be looking at a messed up liver and pancreas! i'm on the mend now and am so glad I went in during an attack. My follow up is Thursday and I'm hoping for good news on the liver and pancreas.
I have gotten some stitching done hard to do when your doped up but I haven't had to frog any of it so yay me. I've nostly been working on Faery Tales-I decided to go up and over from the bottom.I have finished page 40 and am working on 39 and 32. I'm hoping to do some scanning at some point this week so I should be able to put up pics by this week end. I have gottrn Sunny back out for the SAL this week but I really haven't gotten much done on her this week. I've been so tired and I haven't needed a pain pill in days now-gues it's just from sitting around so much-....I'm still having a hard time pulling the hise around the yard for watering but my kids don't go back to school for another 2 weeks they can water the plants!

I got alot done on MOTD but the new SAL has started and I worked on Sunny. I've also been working on Faery Tales,I'm working from the bottom up so I'm almost done with page 40. Now I can't decide to go up or out probably do both:)

I haven't been able to find my cameras charger,but my bathroom did get done it's now a lovely Titan Blue which has a shade more purple than we thought but it matched up to the wallpaper in ther very well.Now if we could just get someone else to do our master-I'd be thrilled...it's a mess. Most of the 20 yr. old wallpaper has peeled off down to the drywall and when someone patched one of the holes in the wall they left a good 1/2 inch of fill on it that's been fun to sand down-our bedroom even got the dust from that.There is one tiny window above the shower-that doesn't even open. The shower itself lets just say you'd probably have more room in a campground shower but it's still way better than what we had...I know eventually it will be better....Where is that 8,000 tax credit anyway-takes forever:)
I'm still stitching on HAED's. I got out QS Dragon Soul-I can see the dragon now and am working into her face-doing all the dark colors for the SAL this week-shame I didn't get around to a before but I have been working on it pretty solid. Me and Valorie just picked Sunny for the next SK Freebie on the BB,we're excited....And in July I'll be starting Faery Tales with some other lovely ladies

New Update

And an update on SK Rose on Fire,I almost couldn't put this one down got going real good on it,but others call....I'm still working on SK MOTD but I've also pulled out QS Dragon Soul in the hopes of having a finish for the rewards program.

Here's another small update on Mermaid of the Deep SK. I took a small break from my computer-I'm paying for it for sure I have over 300 e-mails,but I am considering dropping out of some of the cross stitch groups...That will cut down on my mail:)

More house stuff

So I started on the hallway bathroom. Dark dark green ugh! SO I have got the second coat of Kiltz drying right now and later today it will be a nice Titan Blue. We're going to keep it wall papered for awhile as it's in good shape and not too offensive-neither of us like flowery anything.

 

 After 1 coat of Kiltz-we will be replacing the trim and caulk around the floor.
Beautiful huh? Up next Titan Blue...my kids are home today so not sure how far I'll get may have to wait til they go to bed.

Snow in Texas

We got about 14". This is our new house-finally remembered a pic. in the daylight. Yay Me. And a few more.......

My son's cars pretty much buried at the other house This is a TA and a Galant the Galant he had just pulled in the yard after working while it snowed-it made it into the yard,that was it. He said it took him awhile to dig it out again.

Our internet was out and our cable went down but we had lots of fun,and we made Carolyn's snow cream!

Ok so this will prob. become stitching and home improvement blog. Our room is this kind of mustard color or camel or something but it wasn't finished so we had this horrible partial red partial papered trim-looks horrible right? So we decided on a dark blue for the walls and a deep purple for our trim. And now here's the after:

Here's a stitchy update. My progress on Mermaid. And progress on SK Rose.....

Sorry it's a little blurry.I will try to re-scan it later I don't have scanner hooked up just yet. I scanned these just before we moved our computer over here. Everything made it ok. I was a little worried about my files I forgot to back them up. I had sent a bunch of my charts to my other e-mail tho just in case. We only moved about 10 miles but you never know what can happen. We had a trailer partially loaded at the other house that we got too tired to finish up. It rained pretty good here and my husband went to get some of the stuff off the trailer-he said he checked all the boxes and made sure to grab Val's books but found out he left one of our game system boxes on there. We have original nintendo nintendo 64 dreamcast ps one and ps2. They are laid out in my garage(2car)even) hoping to dry out and still work ok.

We got the house. We are in the house-1 week. We have fixed a toilet a sink and we had a hot water leak in the laundry room(that's right laundry gets it's own room now) woo hoo.We haven't completely fixed it yet husband got irritated with it I told him to let it go for now. We have lots of painting to do. Owners really had a thing for maroon and tan. Our room has partial candy apple red trim. It's def. my first room to paint. Took a before(will load it up later),getting ready to wash down the trim and get the primer on.
Little Valorie woke up at 6 this morning so no breaks for me today-I am hoping to get some stitching in. Think I'll do that real quick,as I have a needle loaded. I got out In To the Light by Teri Rosario,I started it in the bottom right corner so for now it's all 939. I'm making some progress on it. I found some more threads for my Mermaid SK.
For now my routine has been: get up early have my tea and stitch. Start a fire,clean and unpack stitch some more sweep. Play with Valorie eat with Valorie clean unpack. Val does like to help with the cleaning. So far this week she has "helped" with the floor in the dining room she swept the halls she cleaned windows, window frames and helped gather fire wood. She's a great helper.
I must get going-have to start the laundry which still seems to be an every day thing:(

Thank all of you so much, I really appreciate everything I got and the time you put into your gifts. Right now everything is packed up.Thought we were getting a new house but turns out we might not-O well. I can get my stuff back out-it's packed not buried like everything else is right now.

BDay Post

I had a good birthday. I got to stitch all weekend made good progress on Citrine.My husband and grand daughter made me a yummy chocolate cake with hershey's bars on top and choc.chips covering the sides(Valories Idea). Got some candles from my mom and some clothes(eww). Nobody really gets my stitching (except my husband) in my family so they never get me anything realted to that. When one of the groups I'm in ILCS announced they did a BDay group I had to sign up. You spend the year sending gifts to others on their b-day and on yours the favor is returned. It's nice to have a group that understands what you do and love to further enable you. I say thanks to you all!
It'll take awhile to list everything I have just been discovered by Valorie so computer time is over. Will try to work on this tonight...
